David Lemieux would be the man at 160 if it was not for Golovkin

dude is a beast he is at his best he is no longer the young inexperience guy who gassed out against Rubio remember he was beating Rubio up and just gassed he was never dominated until he fought golovkin.

David at this moment has improved on his stamina and does not gass out which means big problems for anyone he faces other then Golovkin

Same thing happened in 80's with Hamsho. Wasn't big puncher like Lemieux but a crude brawler
and the gate keeper of the mw. Tony Sibson another fighter during MH reign. If another left hooker
like Lacy could win world title then no reason why David couldn't. He is big mw maybe a invasion
of the smw is the solution.

The problem is ggg has ruined the competition @ mw, there's tons of talent there are endless great fights. If not for ggg it'd be the best, most exciting and most competitive division.

Ggg has ran through the division and the trolling clowns on here claiming like he hasn't fought anyone. That division is DEEP but ggg is so great he makes WORLD CLASS championship calibre fighters be called bums.

Ggg is another never before and never again talent that gets less credit for being too great

    agree
GGG ruined the division imagine 160 without golovkin?

Loads of great close fighters everyone else would have close fights with each other but once they fight golovkin they get blown away

Loses a 12 round UD to Billy Joe, Saunders would make him look like a novice.

David can still be outboxed by someone with a chin and reach advantage
    over him.

If we look at all of his opponents (except Golovkin) since his losses
to Rubio and Alcine, not one person he fought was an elite or even
semi elite boxer. He's never been in danger of being outboxed or stopped
    (except this weekend vs. Curtis).

Stop being mesmerized by power please. David still has the same limitations,
enjoy this fight for what it was.

160 is pretty weak... I think Lemieux is good but not great there is a lot he still doesn't do so great it's just people that don't like him question his chin and stamina and not his skills.

That's the problem, though. He is a big MW but he would have trouble at 168 where everyone is taller than him and has higher reach. No doubt he could get some people out of there if he manages to carry his power. I guess it remains to be seen.

    Canelo, Jacobs, Saunders UD Lemieux

Pick 'em vs Andy Lee and CEJ, Jermall Charlo probably beats him as well, depending on how his chin will hold up @ 160.

Imo, he's the 2nd best offensive fighter in the MW division.

Anyone else notice: As soon as a non-US American becomes champion the division magically gets labelled "weak".

Depends on who you're noticing. General consensus or a few posters? Be real. People have been calling this division weak for a while now.
