    Because he was on a 7 fight win streak and would go on to win his next four fights after losing to Wlad? Because he arguably beat Lewis who trembled in his shoes at the thought of rematching him? Speaking of Lewis, why TF did Lewis fight Fortune and Butler? :confused:

    No, he beat un -televised club fighters nobody ever heard about or even knew about. He disgracefully cherry picked a title defence cos Wlad hadn't the gonads to box anybody with the pulse.

    There are levels to the sport.
    Contenders like Butler etc are multiple levels above unranked club fighters.
    Now you know.

    Dino really is a nutbag. But I think I'll remember his logic for the next time he rags on Wlad about his allegedly poor opposition. By his own logic, the guys that Wlad fought are "multiple levels" above other guys simply by the fact that they got a crack at the title. :lol: Well done, Dino, you managed to shoot a hole in your foot.

    Personally I'd say a guy that Mercer fought like Don Steele is very comparable - and probably better than - Fortune and Butler.
