Does Lemieux hit harder then Golovkin?

But GGG stopped Rubio yet Lemieux couldn't even drop him.....is this proof of another kind of pudding?

 

Lemmy's left hook is probably more powerful than Golovkin's left hook. But I'd say Golovkin's other punches are more powerful than Lemmy's other punches.

He is the bigger puncher IMO. It was said on the documentary as well... But GG had a perfect staretegy and nullified that power completely with his jab... GGG knew and just took the only thing he has which is power from him and completely outclassed him until he could not take any more punishment... Good and entertaining fighter though.. If they went to the arcade and punched to see who has the most power per square inch it would probably be Lemieux. He is bigger and a known puncher.

In a fight it is a different story. If you load up on every punch you can get caught and you can get tired. GGG is smart and accumulates damage on his foes. Lemieux is happy to do it with one punch.

The reason is GGG has the timing and skills to do it while Lemieux is swinging for the fences. Golovkins method is statistically more sound and yet he still gets his KOs. The GGG vs DL fight is an example. GGG would have taken short and long term risks trading with Lemieux. He fought a smart fight and won without taking more damage than required.

 

A few weeks back someone made a thread asking if 3G hit harder than Marciano. I believe most voted yes. Now the question is, does Lemieux hit harder than G. Some on here are saying yes. Hope this clarifies my post for you.

 

not only does golovkin hit harder than rock! he beats him! ggg also has the best chin ever and walks through rock and savagely breaks him down....golovkin eats a few punches just to show off his chin and look weak so other guys will think hes vulnerable and fight him later....

 

What's really remarkable about it is GGG KO'd Rubio with a shot to the forehead. I've never seen that before.
