My official pick is GGG by TKO in rounds 6-9. However it's a good fight which I give Jacobs a 30% chance in. Imo for Jacobs to win he has to first push GGG back in the early rounds, catch him with something to get his respect. Then later if GGG tries to go to stick to a jab like he did against Lemieux it will allow the longer and quicker Jacobs to possibly box his way to a decision. Jacobs cannot allow GGG to just land big bombs early at will, he needs to deter him somehow. What chance do you give Jacobs? And what game plan would you use if you were in his corner?

Use the jab early and often. Drop that bomb of a right hand whenever the opportunity arises. Mix up the movement. If there is room, take half steps backwards to maintain distance and range. If close to the ropes, step inside to smother his power and work him over on the inside. If GGG is respecting Jacobs' power and not pressing forward, Jacobs needs to mix up his jabs, i.e. body jabs, dipping jabs, double and triple jabs with movement, etc. When the jab is properly established, Jacobs would be able to land lead right hands and follow up from there. If GGG is pressing forward, Jacobs needs to use his legs to create space. When GGG steps into that space, Jacobs has to land shots and combos. GGG isn't a one shot KO artist. He's a hard hitter that breaks you down. Combine that with a great chin, he's hard to handle. Jacobs has the tools, but I favor GGG in this match 65% to Jacobs 45%.
This is exactly what needs to happen to have a chance at beating GGG, but I guess its much easier said than done. A GREAT fighter will land shots and combos when that opponent steps into that space. So Saturday night we find out exactly how great Jacobs is or how much GGG disrespects Jacobs power.

I don't think his jab is good enough for him to try and fight from the outside to be honest but he can't go reckless either because he'll just get countered too easily. I think like the guy said above he'll need to try and move LOTS (not sure if his footwork is going to be good enough though) then try to smother when GGG is in range. Not sure I can really see it happening for him to be honest
Focus on timing GGG and boxing defensively. Make GGG eat the jab and keep him disrupted and unable to move forward behind Jacobs fast jab and speed. Bum rushing him could work if he's very lucky. But he'd have more of a chance this way. But ultimately that isn't Jacobs style and I doubt he could have relearnt everything between the start of camp now. And even then I doubt Jacobs has the skill or timing to effectively and repeatedly nail GGG while on the back foot defensively. But who knows. Haye lost to bellew, so it's baaxing, anything can happen.
And to keep it up for 12 rounds is a TALL task. Like you said, only a great fighter can beat GGG. Can't wait to see if Jacobs can rise to the challenge.
Look for counter uppercuts when GGG is inside attacking the body and tie up IMMEDIATELY if GGG lands a hook or OH R upstairs. Take the warnings and even pt deductions from ref if necessary to remain upright. If GGG lands a jab that has straight L effects, ie buzzing Jacobs......TAKE A COUNT. Get his senses, and go back to countering and tying up. Try to stick the jab and lead right in whenever GGG is out of range. I really can't see Jacobs maintaining enough focus for these ideas to work, but hopefully Virgils taught him enough to make it interesting. And on a SIDE NOTE.......... A DQ loss for excessive clinching is better than going out ala Stevens v Lemmy or getting busted up like Brook.
