ggg/jacobs ppv numbers?

    has anyone heard from loeffler or anyone from jacobs side regarding what they project or what they need to consider it succesful?

    normally we hear the sides talk about what they project or need to be successful?

    my guess is k2 and hbo will be tight lipped unless its successful after the fact....

    has anyone seen/heard any quotes? i could have easily missed them

    I don't think K2 or HBO have said anything official, however the figures I'm hearing from ESPN are:
    150k or below: poor / very poor
    200k: average
    250k or above: good / very good

    i'd think it does more than that....or at least that...

    just curious what the number they are looking for is

    this is a big event for golovkin and loeffler.....this gauges their market value for canelo....

    P.S. ESPN also projected 500k buys for Canelo-Chavez Jr. My predictions are 200k for GGG-Jacobs, and 700k for Canelo-Chavez Jr.

    canelo vs smith did 250,000 buys and canelo is suppose to be a bigger ppv star then golovkin

    I think this fight does 200,000 buys which is good

    nah...those wont matter when talking about a potential fight between canelo/ggg...which is a fight that supposedly the boxing world is clamoring for...so im asking about what kind of numbers k2 is looking for here to beef up their position

    this isnt casual talk...this is talk for boxing fans with brains...not ones who live in 1br shacks in tennesee, have only had sex with their cousins and are still hurt over wards win 4 months later

    Thats why GBP went for Chavez jnr they know this is guaranteed numbers ahead of GGG negotiations. Clever business move but they are blatantly going to duck again.

    Now shock i dont want a back n forth this is my opinion

    I dont think this fight is PPV worthy but it is a very evenly matched PPV unlike most of Floyd and Mannys PPV mismatches

    I doubt this fight does more than 300,000 unless they lower the price

    canelo smith was a garbage fight to begin with...canelo was also expected to decrease in popularity by GGGoons like you because hes "ducking golovkin".....so 250k for smith id say was halfway decent

    this is golovkins biggest fight to date at age 35
