    But i guess all they will prove is with the right dance partner Canelo does numbers.

    Chavez jnr is a clever cherrypick though especially as they get to boil him down

    well ppvs are always going to work that way man.....canelo aint gonna sell 600k vs liam smith...but you put him in with khan and cotto and those numbers are up there

    what boxing star is going to sell 600k against a guy of smiths caliber? no one...it always take the right dance partner to do numbers

    None are very good matchups, but to be honest undercards don't really affect ppv numbers much. Usyk was supposed to be on the card but the money wasn't there in the end.

    If rumours are to be believed they are struggling to sell out the venue for this fight. I'm not sure if they are true or not but I do know the tickets for this fight are more expensive than the previous GGG fights.

    I think this will do 150k max, but nowadays all these guys lie, GBP lied about the Canelo numbers for the Smith fight, K2 lied about the numbers for the GGG vs Lemieux fight.

    That is a **** undercard, good fighters but there all in uncompetitive matchs up. It seems all the money is going to GGG and Jacobs for this one.

    From the interviews today:

    TOM LOEFFLER: The tickets are selling very well. The last show where Gennady and ‘Chocolatito’ had fought together at the Garden in October 2015, we were completely sold out and right now the tickets are ahead of that. So we expect a sold out arena and the fans have reacted to the combination again of Gennady and ‘Chocolatito’ on the same show.

    I would have agreed with you, but Dan Rafael said point blank that he had the exact numbers and neither had lied. Of course, he could have been lying too ...
