I am not to sure about this fight. I know it is stupid, but I keep thinking Hughie is going to be a lot better than what he has shown so far just because of who his cousin is. If Hughie was not related to Tyson Fury I think by watching his fights, looking at his poor resume and KO rate that he is not up to much. Hughie is going to pose some problems Parker has not had to deal with yet, Hughie can box well on the outside, and has significant height and reach over Parker, does Parker's speed naturalise that though? Also how well will Hughie's chin stand up to Parker, not world level power, but he has a lot more power than anyone Hughie has faced so far? Any rumours of Hughie getting chinned in sparring? I have a feeling this is a 50/50 fight, but have not seen enough of Hughie to be certain. What do you think?

Hughie needs to raise his game...otherwise it's a good fight.

    abit flat footed.

Hughie looks a bit too thin of late for my liking. He came in at 217 for George Arias whereas with the exception of one fight where he weighed 229, he's come in 230-235 on average for all his other ones and he's even come in as heavy as 247 once too. He's a big guy (6'6'') so I hope he's not thinking about coming very light again, because Parker is bull strong and very heavy handed.

Sure this thread has been done to death.

Hughie Fury by UD for me. He is by far the better boxer.

Parkers power is not proven at world level, at present its domestic level power.

Easy to forget how young hughie is. Its a shame hes had such health problems for so long.

I think if hes got over his issue been training hard, he will do well. I'm amazed he didnt have a tune up fight though. Test his performance with the new diet and meds etc.

As usual though the Furys are very confident, they wouldnt be taking the fight if they didnt think he had it in the bag.

Really I'm on here a few times a week, must of missed it.
It would be good for Britain to have another belt holder.

Don't think it will actually happen, but if it does I'm going with Parker for sure.

Parker. Hughie looks like a skilled individual when boxing on the outside, but to be honest he hasn't exactly been matched with any aggressive come forward punches. Kassi (a well past it) at times caused issues up close, showing me Hughie doesn't have the strength and technique yet to get out of the "in the close pocket" encounters. Parker will bring not just speed but a good jab combination getting him in close.
Will Hughie try and do his best to stay at distance? Probably, but when he gets trapped or frustrated in close, Parker will look to finish him.

    Parker mid KO.

Could you please enlighten us all by informing us what Hughie Fury has proven at world level?

Parker SD, I would have picked Hughie but his inactivity is what edges to Parker. I think a active Hughie could beat Parker.

Hughies resume is weak as hell, and hasnt fought anyone to actually get to top level.Parker himself has fought wrong opposition which shows in his fights struggling against guys he shouldn't. Boxing is about lining opponents up to advance or progress skills when relativley new and both have been poorly managed but Parker has much better preperation here.

If Parker cant beat this point fighter hes in trouble bc other tall guys with power are going to be even bigger problems,

Parker by decision. And thats only because i think hes severly limited and cant pull the trigger with knockouts when he should, Hughie will be ring savvy and Parker will miss opportunities.

Parker has shown no competent inside capability but what will probably swing things his way is he has been matched competitively the last year or so and he is very active. Can't see a ko but if he does get one, my estimation of his power and ability will significantly rise.

I personally think Parker winning is better for the sport, even though I'm from the UK and it would be nice for the uk to possibly have 3 of the belts. I believe if Hughie gets this belt he will milk it by fighting low opposition after low opposition, if he's previous matchmaking is anything to go by. Parker at least seems like he wants to unify with Wilder so I'll be rooting for him just based of that fact.
