David Lemieux would be the man at 160 if it was not for Golovkin

"not long ago people were saying ggg was scared of tureano"...LOL

golovkinites are too dumb to realize theyve created their own trolls or troll posts through their incessant excuse making and praise of golovkin....nobody in their right mind actually thinks ggg is scared of some C/B level MW named tureano johnson.......but someone will counter troll a golovkin fan and they will take it at face value...as truth....because they need something like that use

When I say ggg ruined the division, I say that because without ggg we'd be watching a whole bunch of great mw fights all fighting for supremacy

That's your opinion, you can't make an elite level fighter off anyone, fighters are born fighters, there's NEVER been a made elite level fighter.

Look at Aj and DW, they were obviously born with that fighters grit, most humans, in general are ****ing wuss bags

Williams has already peaked and has nothing left to offer. He cannot get ANY better he will only get weaker.

Opponents now know for a fact he can't fight longer than 8 rounds and his chin is terrible. You guys sit here and hammer on Jacob's chin when it's absolutely unbreakable granite compared to the wicked bad front runner in Williams.

He is pretty skilled but not elite level talent and his chin is truly too weak to become a great fighter. Jacob's can become a great fighter (per everyone) with his chin as is.

Most of our fans are so lost its crazy, the **** I read on here is insane. On the other hand there's a few unbelievably knowledgeable and great posters. We just have too many loud mouths that have to be heard with the facts being they TRULY DKSAB, FACT

i tend to agree with what you're saying....but most guys in the NFL come from dirt poor unbringings.....those guys arent just created either...guys their size with that kind of physical ability....id say its much easier to reverse time and take one of those guys and make them an elite HW than it would be to take wilder or joshua and make them an NFL'er

im not taking anything away from wilder or joshua...i like and respect them both...but you take away the NFL and they probably have 50 guys who are bigger, stronger and more athletic than them....trying to take money off their plates

It isn't so much that Williams has a glass jaw, he just took the wrong approach vs Charlo who was bigger, stronger, faster, and more accurate than I have ever seen him before. That lasik eye surgery did wonders for his accuracy. If he had a glass jaw he just would have been unconscious when he ate that countered that put him down the second time. He doesn't have amazing durability, but I think it is good enough. Now when he moves up to MW he's going to run into some problems, but JMW with there not being any big punchers there I think he'll be okay.

Who said that? Golovkin would wipe his butt with Johnson. Golovkin never dodged Quillen. Quillen is the guy that wanted to make money instead of take the Golovkin Challenge. He ended up getting stopped by Jacobs, in one round instead.

The point is, there are thousand of great athletes that never even consider boxing, and we can't possibly know how they'd fare. AI was an amazing athlete, I was a huge fan of his in my childhood. Had his 76'ers jersey, his armband, headband. But how would his power look like if raised in boxing? Would he be just quick moving on his toes with a tight stance? How would his athleticism look like after getting punched in the mouth? How would his stamina hold up after getting hit in the stomach? There's no way to know any of these. The same goes for Messi.

And I think It's a big mistake on you American's part to believe athletes from your football would easily fit in to boxing if they started at the age 7. How long the duration for a single play, 30 secs, 1 mins at tops? You go for 30 seconds and then pause. If you ever sparred, you should know that 3 minutes of boxing tires you more than 10 mins of basketball, which requires a lot better stamina than American football. I can guarentee you, there's no way would a 6'3 full muscle 270 lbs guy be able to throw punches for 12 straight rounds.

Sometimes you just come along at a bad time. Like Ewing,Barkely,Drexler,Miller,Malone and Stockton. They all had the misfortune of playing in the Jordan era.

GGG is his only recent lose. He destroys everyone else. Lets see who ducks him and who has the balls to fight him.

It's possible the Lemieux could have dominated the 160 lb. division if Golovkin weren't in that division, however, I am so glad to have a champion that fights as much as possible instead of fighting once per year or two..................Golovkin tried to fight Quillin for a long time, but Quillin ran from him, ducked him, no matter what the money...........Easy knockout for Golovkin as Quillin was easy to him and very slow............

Why do Americans think that NFL players are elite athletes. The World series is a domestic game.

Boxing and 'soccer' or any other world sport is far more elite as the talent pool covers the whole world not just a few 100mil Americans.

Football is a fringe sport in any other country

Is there a consulation bracket for all the fighters that have faced GGG thus far. Can they be given a participation ribbon or something, BC the Straps will remain with GGG as long as he is around.
