So lets discredit boxers that go up in weight to fight one of the most dangerous boxer in that higher division. Are you seriously a boxing fan?

I understand your view in the Canelo and Brook, but it's laughable. In the record book Khan is going to have Canelo, and you're going to be there saying, " well he never fought brook" LOL.. Canelo will go down as the riskier fight, the more solid of opposition, and your reasoning even if true doesn't change the fact that Khan chose to fight the more solid of opposition.

Could easily put Duhapaus in there for Adamek, Cunningham, and Chisora. Chisora was coming off a loss and beating bums when Duhapaus fought Wilder, Wilder was coming off beating Charr. Anyways, lets just stop arguing about this because we'll never agree.

Yeah, let's discredit a boxer who goes up in weight then uses the weight excuses right away. Are you a boxing fan or a Khan fan? Would you rather have watched Khan/Canelo or Khan vs any top WW? Khan will never fight a top 5 WW unless he's getting that PPV money. All he's doing is cashing out. No hardcore boxing fan wants to see these garbage cash out fights. I mean the only reason people wnat to see Brook/Khan is to see him suffer, not because they think it's gonna be a good fight.

Exactly. Don't get me wrong, he fought solid opposition like a decade ago, but the best? Hell no.

If you fight the best, you get paid.

The discussion was not what I prefereed, it was about the quality of the opposition. The quality of Canelo was obviously higher than any WW he could of fought. To get that PPV money means that Khan is going to have to take the riskier fights? So if Khan wants that PPV money, then the fights he'll be taking will be of higher quality than the likes of Brook that you're mentioning, such as Pacquiao.

I truly believe he's afraid of facing Kell Brook... Not for fear of bodily injury, but he can't cope with being humiliated at the domestic stage and losing his status as England's #1 WW(in his mind - in reality he lost that spot when Brook beater Porter) so he won't take that fight unless it's for a kings ransom. Guy appears to be a ***** to negotiate with as well... Don't think we'll see the Pac fight.

I think Brook is better than Pacquiao in 2017. I wouldn't have minded the Pac/Khan fight if he didnt just get koed by Canelo. This is just a pure cash out move now. He's going to get knocked out by Pac, then get knocked out by Brook. I'm glad that Spence/Brook happened instead of the joke of a fight that's Khan/Brook. Brook would kill Khan in under 6.

As for quality of opposition, sure let's give him credit for taking a fight where he criticized his opponent for weighing in at like 180+, and made excuses about how it wasn't his weight class. He was in a no lose situation. He gets paid heavily, and he still has those big fights waiting for him even with the loss. As a fan I want to see a boxer take on the best opposition in his weight class, not take fights in a higher division where he has practically no chance for the money.

What has Khan done to be so adored by boxing fans? Like I said around a decade ago he fought solid opposition, but not the type of opposition where you say this guy is really fighting the best. Then he fought a bunch of mediocre fights, and Alexander, then a cash out against Canelo.

I'm glad though, I want to see the Spence/Brook fight. The Brook/Khan fight is a joke. Khan has always been overrated.

I think the pacquiao fight will happen and Khan will lose again. I think the reasoning the Brook fight hasn't happened is because Khan sees himself as the A-side and won't back down on any demands by Brook. Khan will now fight against Pacquaio who once again is the higher calibre of fighter than Brook.

I think it's a solid fight, but Brook/Spence is definitely better.
