To be honest I'm not that overlly impressed with Joshua. It's his fault tho but he hasn't showed much in terms of what he can do. But that has to do more with his opposition then it has to do with him. But overall I think Joshua looks abit flatfooted and I doubt Ali would get hit by any of his shots flush.

This. If Joshua can't get Wlad out of there in under six it would be a very bad performance. Tyson knocked an inactive Holmes out in 4 rounds.

Exactly my thoughts. Lol! If it was Ali against an established ATG heavyweight that didn't get a gift gold medal like Wlad... then yeah ok.

If Joshua is fighting it is a super fight, because he is a 6'6 250 pound beast, Ali is just cannon fodder.

    Aah, of course....
So why even bother with bringing Ali's name up? He was just a journeyman...

Less informed people think he is one of the best ever.

Yes I agree the glove change isnt correct, I said it as I knew what you would mean if I said it about the extra couple of seconds which I dont think made any difference.
When you say monster puncher, just imagine how big a puncher Joshua would have been then

I'm not convinced Joshua punches harder than Liston.

You mean the consensus amongst many learned and experienced boxing people that he is the best ever.
Having said that it's legitimate opinion to disagree and say Louis, Tyson, Holmes or Lewis and some others have a shot at the best ever, but to put Joshua in the mix?
He's got to achieve a helluva lot more than stopping a selection of tomato cans to be put in that company.

Oh get real. Liston only had a 69% KO rate when he fought Ali, and that was against guys mostly under 200 pounds. Liston could not even KO Whitehurst who had been stopped 4 times already.
Joshua on the other hand has a 100% KO rate against real super heavyweights. Joshua is levels above Liston's grossly exaggerated power.

Joshua is bigger, stronger, taller, has a longer reach, and hits harder.
