Liston and Lewis are possiblities. Louis belongs in the discussion. Holmes certainly doesn't.

A motivated Bowe at his best could possibly catch the Frazier of '73 early and take him out.

Yep. Many of the 'roided (post-'80s) ABC champs and even top challengers (Ruddock, Tua) could blitz Frazier in '73. Otherwise, I'd go with Dempsey, Louis and Liston.

C'mon guys, '73 Frazier was overweight but he was still dangerous and would beat Marciano and Dempsey. Let's give a little credit to George for staying composed and landing shots that few people could have taken.

Any Frazier gets destroyed by Prime Dempsey and gets stopped by Marciano.

Most of the great superheavies (Lewis, Bowe, K2) and Louis, Holmes and Liston could have pulled the trick by 73. Frazier was on a quick downslide to his career. Issues with his heart, shoulder, eyes and encroaching diabetes, along with the wear and tear of his style, were taking their toll. He still had enough to beat whatever a "Prime Dempsey" is, tho.

Dempsey would have a reasonable chance against post 1976 version of Frazier. Otherwise Joe would grind Dempsey down into a fine powder. Frazier would dominate Dempsey.

Mental how people think he lifted him off his feet. Its physically impossible. It was joes reaction that made it look like that

Lewis, Liston, and Louis were the 3 names that jumped to mind for me when I saw the thread.

It's not physically impossible. In fact, we've seen boxers lifted off their feet many times.

liston and tyson within 3. louis may need five. Lewis may do him in within 3 he is capable of it but sometimes he was cautious

I actually rate Marciano and Dempsey pretty highly, just not as highly as Frazier.

The overweight, undertrained Frazier of 73, the one Mercante says was behaving like he was on holiday with his buddies? You don't think a prime Holmes circa 1979-82 can't wipe the floor with that guy?
