That was because Lemieux fought way more cautious than usual. Jacobs is different. He will give everything from the beginning. So it depends on him if the fight will become a Hagler vs. Hearns.

He didn't start any different vs Quillin. He landed a counter, saw he was hurt and went for the kill.

Jacobs was offered this fight 3 years ago it took brook "exposing" him to get the confidence to fight him

Nobody wanted that fight back then. I did, but most others didn't. Golovkin has not faded and Jacobs is the same too. Both men are prime.

I think GGG is one of the few fighters at the championship level that can back up what he says. Against Brooks he promised a street fight and we saw him play out his idea of a street fight. Against Lemieux he boxed his ears off.

Everyone must of noticed his wild swings and misses against Kell yeah? how often do you see him swinging like a novice? this was what he meant by a street fight. Rude and crude and still got the job done. He didn't even try to slip many punches, and he ate up uppercuts like a fat man eats hot dogs and he brought us an entertaining fight.

BJ Saunders fell into the trap GGG laid for future opponents, and went online almost immediately challenging and calling out GGG after seeing how seemingly "easy" the welterweight champion was hitting him. Jacobs will bring a good fight I think. He will hit GGG no doubts about it, but Danny will get hit back like he's never been hit before. The only chink in Jacobs armor is that one loss on his record, and that is likely to happen all over again this coming Saturday.

I feel this will be the best fight we will have seen GGG in so far. I admire the miracle man for taking this fight and the mindset he has going into this fight with. Part of me wants him to win after watching his story on the 24/7 show.

    May the best man win!!

Hagler had a GOAT chin. That man was steel. Something was inside his body that was not human flesh because that dude could just take some straight up bombs. Jacobs does not have the chin to pressure Golovkin. Jacobs will finish on his back.

Can't imagine Golovkin topping his 2015 year. First he won every round against David Lemieux. Knocked him out without even getting touched. Lemieux is the 2nd best MW in the world. And in that same year he destroyed Martin Murray probably the best 160 pounder in the world besides Golovkin at the time. That was when GGG was 33 years old. At 35 I can't see him topping that at this point. But Jacobs chin won't cut it even if GGG is 35 years old now.
