Isn't Bowe regarded as a highly accomplished inside boxer, when he brought it, it certainly impressed me - seeing a man of his size putting combinations together like he could.
he had two decent wins in his career. golota took him to school. golota was more technically skilled.
I did say "when he brought it" but concede it wasn't often enough. Disagree on golota, he got the better of him both times but that wasn't Bowe at his best.
so Bowe was at his best only twice. btw, holyfield went .500 or worse against everyone top level he fought.
not really. Ali was skilled but he was the perfect example of his skills being amplified by his superior athleticism,toughness and iq. Joe Louis was the most skilled. I dont think its even close.
golota was rarely at his best. often caught cold in the first round in big fights. yet against bowe, ruiz, and byrd he showed his potential.
