Jacobs will probably be 5-10 lb bigger in the ring, that's far from insurmountable.

Still a bit disappointing that he purposely missed the IBF weigh-in though to be honest.

Some of you all get caught up in your feelings. The official weigh in was moved to the morning for whatever reason. The IBF next morning weigh in time was not changed though. That means that the length of time, that the boxers couldn't rehydrate more than 10 pounds was extended significantly. What time does a weigh in usually take place? 4 or 5pm right? That means at least six hours were added to the time period that the fighters had to stay within 10 pounds of what they weighed in at.

These things happen. Nothing Golovkin hasn't dealt with before. It is kind of messed up that Golovkin had a limit to how much he could rehydrate to, but he comes in around this weight anyway so it doesn't change much. I want to see the best Jacobs possible for this fight. So there can be no excuse when Golovkin breaks him!

More emotionalism. He didn't know months ago, that the weigh in would be moved from the evening, to 9AM in the morning either. That makes a big difference, when you have an IBF rehydration cap the next morning, whose time didn't change, when the official weigh in time changed.

Both guys weighed within 2 oz of each other the day before....Jacobs especially looked emaciated.

I'm just saying think rationally. They didn't know ahead of time that the official weigh in would be changed to 9AM in the morning, instead of the late afternoon or early evening.

lol the fk!? who cares about the ibf weight clauses. only thing that matters is that he weighed in, on or below the middleweight limit.

The boxing commission need to take away Jacobs purse for this fight due to his complete disregard for the rules.

He's made a mockery of the sport.

It's about respect for me, Jacobs challenged GGG at middleweight and agreed to the terms and conditions of the fight. One of those conditions was to meet a second day weight limit and he didn't do that but his opponent did. He was forceful in saying that his skills was gonna see him through but it seems to me that he don't have that much confidence in his skills. I wanted Jacobs to meet every condition that was put forth and then go in there and prove that he is the better fighter. That's being a man about it and would leave no doubt as who the man is at 160. Even if he wins, he can't really say that and that's what pisses me off.

For some reason when it comes to the Kovalevs,Berterbievs and GGG there would be opponents seem to have to justify taking a fight with em by demanding everything they can get and then some,GGG don't mind though.
