    Cruz was stopped two fights ago at 132 pound weight. Career 130 fighter for the most part. has not fought in 11 months. Ryan Martin has fought is so much bigger and has fought at 140 and is 5ft 11.....why do they always do this? insurance the prospect can look great. I'd rather see a prospect fight someone that has a skill disadvantage rather than a big size and weight disadvantage, especially when he got stopped two fights ago at a lower weight. Id rather see a legit 135 journeyman. Its hard to see how skilled a prospect is when the guy he is fighting is already at a big size and weight disadvantage.

    30-27 Martin. He puts his punches together pretty well, and has Cruz on the defensive more often than not. The fact that he looks about two divisions bigger helps, too.

    I mean, a prospect has to fight someone who can match them, more or less, in terms of skill, at some point in their development...But yeah, in terms of featuring said prospect I think it generally aids his cause more to put him in against a less skilled but larger opponent.

    Its an awfully boring fight for me. Last rd was ok when Martin stunned him, the rest has been boring.

    Who TF is gonzalez fighting??? This card sucks, 5/10 PPV, they didn't even try to give us competitve fights besides GGG jacobs
