The problem is he isn't brash, flashy, low bro ghetto trash that many boxing fans can relate to and identify with. If he was he'd be worshipped in all their communities and a bad word wouldn't be uttered.

Stfu lmao. Everyone here who is a true boxing fan knows that the 12th round decided the fight. This juvenile "Losing your minds that someone isn't in the hospital" lunacy reads ******ed. Go crawl back under your alt and respect the fact that Jacobs gave GG all he could handle you ****en clown.

    Clown ass

A lot of rounds GGG was more resourceful and probably more effective. But this wasn't a case of the other guy just throwing punches and staying away. Jacobs was landing hard and throwing in combination, moving well but asserting himself more than GGG. I doubted my own 8 rounds to Jacobs as it happened, but that shouldn't be a bad scorecard.

So feather fisted fighters should lose everyfight then? effective aggression not "damage" is scored ..should be anyway.

60 punches? What planet are you living on mate?

All I saw was a guy who had no answer and was head hunting all night.

I scored it 116-111 but admit there were several close rounds. I think Jacobs deserved it though.

Gonzalez was outright robbed though. What a skillfuland gutsy performance by that little guy.

And you claimed to have had 500 on a Jacobs win, so who was closer to being correct?

I really don't mean to rude, I will probably only get a a few of hours sleep then I'm off to watch my beautiful Tottenham Hotspur play and I can't do this all night.. so are you drunk or just stupid?

Jacobs is juiced to the gills, that's patently obvious. That said, he did employ the right strategy of doing whatever he could to avoid ggg setting up and teeing off. Constant movement, throwing quick arm punches and clinching up whenever possible is whats needed to beat Golovkin and he was able to execute it well enough. If the judges looked more favorably on him, he could have gotten the nod. But Jacobs didn't press the fight hard enough. I think GGG was a little off tonight and was waiting for Jacobs to run out of steam, which never happened, in fact later in the fight GGG was losing stamina and explosiveness while Jacobs just kept on ticking over. Go figure.

Let me rephrase: you're penalizing Jacobs for LACK of power relative to his opponent rather than awarding Golovkin for his well placed punches. Golovkin landed the harder punches and can even win rounds by landing less punches with more authority, but he did not do that consistently over 12 rounds.

I'm not going to forget the combos Jacobs landed because Golovkin landed one big right hand. You can't get too caught up in power. By that logic Golovkin will never lose unless he fights a bigger puncher.

Clearly if you can't even do any damage you're not having much effective aggression. Just face it. Its pro boxing. The hurt game. You come to bring pain. Good judges tonight. Fighters need to go out there and crack some skulls. Its boxing. Destroy.

I had the same score, didn't score the Gonzalez fight but it looked like he won. I won't comment much until I score that one.
