I just see this comment, don't know what you guys are going back and forth on, but there IS a criteria for winning professional boxing rounds. It's somewhat vague, sure, but there are criteria to how we should draw our conclusion.

You can't wear a sombrero AND dance. That's moral depravity. If you wear a sombrero you have to be badass like Tuco from TGTB&TU

No, you keep you money, you're going to need it if you ever want to get laid.

Yeah Spurs probably will struggle a bit without a player of his quality but any team would, we will see how those lot down the road now cope without Sanchez, he looks like he will be put injured for a while.

I had Golovkin winning this one but it was close. Jacobs did some nice work but alot of what he supposedly landed was caught on the gloves. That knockdown sealed it.
Him saying **** the second weigh in I'm ok with since he made the first. Looked huge in there like ggg was fighting a LHW.
Great fight with alot of tactical aspects. Jacobs switching stances and showing good movement. Very good speed. GGG fighting with disciplined caution and focusing on his jab and blocking a good portion of the incoming. Still Jacobs Slipped IN His Fair Share of connects.
Looking forward to an eventual rematch. Let GGG fight Canelo and if he wins ( I think he will ) then the rematch stakes go up. Maybe in the meantime Jacobs can lure BJS into the ring to really sweeten thst rematch pot....

Golovkin's reign is coming to an end. Has shown big vulnerability to slick and cagey boxers. Ward would have embarrased him.

just to pile on to what you are saying to the guy you are responding to....this whole concept of "appropriating culture" is stupid.
is pacquiao appropriating culture as his english got better? no. what about latino fighters that start with no english and then learn? no. what about mayweather coming out with a sombrero and fighting on cinco de mayo vs de la hoya? ha ha thats floyd. its called trying to expand and entice your fan base and haters and reach across barriers. sometimes it comes off as a bit phony. Like when a mexican american fighter comes out to popular mexican music and he does not even speak spanish and would never listen to that music, ever. Or making a huge thing about Danny Garcia fighting at "home" in Puerto Rico when he is from and was raised in Pennsylvania.....just tacky marketing tactics

    This is true.

We learned that he's not devastating, merely on par, power-wise, when he's facing a cruiser weight.

In such cases, he needs to outbox his opponent, and, with such big men, it might have to be close.

Both guys were leery of the others power. They both felt the power of the other guy early so that made it a chess match.
