I'm loving Jacobs right now LOL I wanted to see Triple G face adversity and get pushed like never before . Jacobs did exactly that . I was even hoping Jacobs would knock Triple G down on his ass . Why not ? Lets see what he is really made of and how he responds.
Triple G won this fight . But he scraped a win tonight .

That's not how the fight went. And Jacobs wasn't looking to survive.

How does he clearly win the fight blizz when you had it 6-6 in rounds?

Yes, I'm fully aware of how compubox works. When it's close, take it with a pinch of salt, but it has some merit when the count is wide

The knockdown made it 114-113 if my math is correct.

Like I said, my stream quality was limited. All I could see was Jacobs pedalling away.

I need to rewatch the fight when I'm back home

Dren i had it a draw going into the 12th. I didn't keep the actual 10 point scoring, i went round by round.

Has no merit either way. As an example, there was a study done on the Calzaghe vs Hopkins fight. CompuBox had Calzaghe landing 232 punches. The reality was that Calzaghe landed around 48 punches through 12 rounds according to review of the film. My point being, CompuBox has no merit whether the margin is small or wide. It's simply a tool used to try and steer viewer opinion.

Jacobs moved at times but for the most part he stood in front of GG. Very good fight and tactical fight!

It's the same thing they used when they said Castillo beat Floyd, but when you watch the fight you see that Floyd won more rounds.

That's based on one fight though. You can't take one result to disprove an entire method.

Saying that, do you have a link to the study? Wouldn't mind taking a look.

No its correct, but I don't see that 'clearly' winning imo. Let's say no KD, and Jacobs wins another close round in your opinion that's 7-5 Jacobs which is totally plausible.. But when I think of clearly winning I think of at least a 4 point margin. JS.. it was a super close fight, but I saw Jacobs out boxing him, using good footwork, tying him up when he needed to and imo landed the better shots. If no KD we get a majority draw on the cards.. But I need to rewatch it myself.
