Lots of flashy and fast punches, but a large % of Jacob's punches were hitting gloves, arms, shoulders, etc. A large % of Jacob's jabs were to the body while moving away or backward from GGG. GGG took the incorrect strategy into the match. His lead right was effective, his jab was very effective, but he neglected the body shot, and didn't put together a 1-2, 1-2-3. After watching the fight a 2nd time, I had GGG up 3 rds. Watching the fight a 2nd time and focusing, rewinding exchanges, slow motion, etc seemed to clarify the match to me. A very good fight, Jacobs did better than expected for most, but the robbery talk is nonsense.
I just got done watching both post-fight press conferences (see my thread on this). Just wanted to say that Jacobs felt he stung/hurt GGG twice in the fight, once on a body shot. Not enough to put him down, obviously, but enough to stop GGG's forward motion. He also said that he heard GGG wince from that body shot he hurt him with.
GGG's face remain barely unscratched for 12 full rounds, compare that with Jacobs. GGG https://ibb.co/d74cFa
