If Jacobs could've found an answer for the jab and done a bit more offensively, he could've won it. As it stands? GGG still out jabbed him, out landed him, did more damage, scored a knockdown, and was the one on the front foot most of the time. It was a very game effort for Jacobs and he deserves credit for it, but that's not the stuff robberies are made of.
Jacobs took himself out of his game plan if you listened to Rozzier ...guess GGG made it hard to follow? Lets seee Jacobs 175lbs ( missed the IBF weigh in...why) Jacobs 3+" taller Jacobs 3" reach advantage Jacobs younger Jacobs Got dropped in 4th Jacobs got wobbled a few more times Jacobs gave GGG a great combination all on target & knocked GGG's head clear back ,Jacobs thought he had done well by his reaction screaming of yeah...GGG just brushed it off & came forward...he took all of Jacobs "Heavy shot" clean & did not stumble once! But you have it as a Jacobs win Lol You have to beat the Champ to take the belts ...you do not win in a close fight or a draw...Danny Jacobs did not win full stop! But hey this fight is a turn around from Ward v Kovalev but you say Ward won that Lol...Double standards
Why would they be biased when they did and have always liked Golovkin? Barry Jones is a top commentator , he wasn't biased and called it exactly how it was. I can read a fight for myself. Im not influenced by commentators like you.
Boxnation was biased as hell. GGG was snapping Jacob's head back ALL NIGHT with that jab. He honestly couldn't miss with the jab. Jacobs had success when he was southpaw merely because it made it more difficult for GGG to land his jab. But boxnation only talked about GGG's jab in one of the final rounds, and all night it was really knocking Jacob's head back. Also, GGG landed the harder shots more consistently than Jacobs. You could even tell by Jacob's face he looked more beat up. I don't know what boxnation was watching. It was a close fight, but GGG's jab won it.
Well then you only saw what you wanted to see. Jacobs was defensively excellent. He produced defensive manoeuvres i never saw him produce before. He slipped and evaded all of Golovkins major assaults for 12 rounds straight. He took a fair few jab but he also slipped and dodged just as many and remember GGG has one of , if not the best jabs in the business. Nobody has been able to defuse GGG like Jacobos did last night. GGG didn't produce a bad performance , he was made to look bad by a guy who had quicker hands , faster feet and a hard to time switching hitting stance. The fight was razor close because Danny implemented and delivered a good gameplan. Harold Ledderman who works for HBO and is biased towards GGG had it even going into the 12th. The Boxnation team only called it how it was. You don't like it simply because you wanted GGG winning by a landslide.
I had Golovkin ahead by two points. To be honest, I was surprised at how accurate the judges scores are, given GGG's popularity. I was also beyond impressed with Jacobs , he had enough gas for 15 rounds and he was in it to win it. Jacobs definitely deserves a rematch, aftwr GGG gets the last belt off Saunders.
This reminded me of Kovalev-Chilemba. Just a tough gritty win by a guy who was supposed to dominate, therefore people are claiming the opponent won. GGG won 115-112 to me.
Don't ****in tell me what the **** I've seen. GGG was knockin his head back ALL night with the jab. Do you got vision problems or brain problems? Maybe you thought Jacobs was GGG? And don't tell me who the **** I wanted to win. I don't give a ****. I'm just glad both people didn't get hurt. It was close, but GGG's jab won the fight. Don't ****in respond to me with anymore bull****. Period.
You have to be told what happened because you simply were not able to see it for yourself. You'll have to take my word for it. You clearly don't understand whats going on when you watch a fight.
