Thought he was alright and pretty much agreed with his analysis, don't know what people are on about. He wasn't saying that Jacobs was pissing it, he just seemed to be saying he was boxing a clever fight and nicking the rounds. At least that's how I remember it abliet with the distraction of a 4 year old yabbering away to me
Guy calls the fights as he's seeing it, no agenda unlike on the other channel. Can't believe folk complaining about the tone of his voice. He's forgotten more about boxing than you will ever know. Jesus
The stats for the fight also clearly demonstrate that he was talking through his arris big time last night. Every punch landed by Jacobs was a 'cracking punch' yet Golovkin was only 'getting through with one'. It really was very poor last night from Jones. Hopefully he watches the fight again listening to his own commentary to improve his own performance in the job.
It was the sale with the Canelo v Smith fight. Smith was losing every round of and Jones kept saying Smith was doing well.
Yep and they continuously ignored all the jabs GGG was landing. I couldn't believe what I was hearing to the point I was desperate for HBO coverage where they actually commentate on what is happening instead of retelling what they feel is happening.
Thought Barry was biased too and I usually like him. Jacobs had some clear rds but generally it was ggg who was landing hurtful punches and hard jabs Think canelo will be salivating at the prospect now
Barry is a great man behind the mic, many in the sport thought Jacobs won so he wasn't to far away Know the sport before you knock someone who does
