I been saying GGG is a good boxer who belongs at bottom of P4P list, somewhere around 10 Kova and Lomo are both top 3/4 P4P Elite boxers Like Meek Millz say Levels to this!!!
I couldn't agree more and made a thread about this as well. GGG has more hype than both of them combined for whatever reason but is no where as good as either.
Gstring barely makes my top 25. He has very little defense if any, He is slow of hands and feet as jacobs exposed, he is just one of those guys if you can take what he got, you can beat him as jacobs so methodically did. Grobot just plods around for knock out. maybe p4p best knockouts, but thats not the same as p4p best boxer imo. rigo, loma, lara, ward , kova, thurman, clownelo, chocalito (despite loss very skilled), charlo, ................ guys that hone there craft and skill
Agree. Fans of the sweet science(and not fans of two bums beating each others brains in for a sandwich) know this is true.
I am a fan of loma and think hes great.... but the fact remains he LOST ... yes the other guy fought dirty but he couldn't find a way to over come it.. sure loma may have the most talent but until he starts beating some top top fighters I cant see how anyone can hhave him top 3 p2p... 6-10 on my list for him be fine but even that might be high .... beating a rusty walters and a over hyped gary Russell doesn't make you a top 3 p4p....
Not only is he not at their level in the skill department, but in the Cojones department as well. Both Loma and Kova look for big legacy fights, GGG looks for the "safe smaller BUT steady paycheck".
Yeah sure, like Jacobs wasn't a high risk/reward and he isn't pursuing a Canelo fight. Try again homie.
Jacobs was a HUGE underdog! Ggg was supposed to barely tap his glove on Jacob's chin and Knock him out! Ward, and Walters alone are better than anyone ggg has ever fought and are levelS (with a capital S) above Daniel Jacobs. Ggg's people have repeatedly said that he does not care for the Canelo fight. Ggg has had his two biggest opportunities to prove he deserves the hype and both times, the MONEY was not enough for him to consider taking those fights. Doesn't that make you wonder where Ggg's heart is? Its not in his legacy like he and his GGGoons claim.
Tap his chin and knock him Tap his gloves and knock him out? You are clueless. Jacob wasn't that huge of an underdog in most knowledgeable boxing fans eyes. You obviously aren't one. And GGG does want the Canelo fight. Show me where he says he doesn't.
