Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

I just don't se how Connor has a reasonable chance in this fight. If fighters who have only focused on boxing for their whole lifes and not only that greats like Marquez, Pacquiao, Mosley, Cotto and so on can't touch Floyd then how can Connor do it?

If Connor has a chance he has a punchers chance and it's early on. If it goes above a few rounds it's all over.

Yeah I agree. It's so hard to see that if all the other champions couldn't hit Floyd then how could Connor do it?
The narrative that some people say that Floyd is old only applies if you've been into hard fights. Floyd hasn't taken alot of punches, he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink and he's been focused on dominating the game since he's started.

Floyd is just copying Kovalev when he fought that MMA fighter last November, forget his name.

 

In fairness, the above pic was of him competing in the UFC. If he went into the ring against Aldo with a boxing stance he would have been the one K.O'd in 15 seconds.

I don't think it's possible he can even touch Mayweather up in a boxing ring, though.

If you walk around at 150 then I can't see how you couldn't boil down to 144 with a full camp to prep. Either he walks around heavier than he says he does or he decided not to make the catchweight.

And after slating catchweights and Pac for using them he could of said the same thing he said about Cotto - "I want Canelo healthy" "I hate catchweights, he was willing to come to 150 but I took him on at 154" he didn't because he wanted the pointless advantage he got.

 

Chavez was a manufactured 'superstar'. He fought a ton of bums, got gift decisions and a gift draw. Do you understand that?
