He needed 3 tune ups before facing Kovalev and still lost, how many will he need before getting KO'd by Triple G?
ward refused to fight golovkin at the hbo offices team Golovkin offered him the fight he said he was not ready and refused the fight why should golovkin wait for him when he refused to fight him when they were both at the hbo offices?
he wasnt ready because he was on the shelf...when ward was active and ready to resume both guys were active...what changed golovkins mind? if u wanted the fight two years ago why not then? the truth is golovkin only had the balls to say he wanted it when ward couldnt fight golovkin ducked ward to fight dom wade and a welterweight with one good win at 147...these are just facts...dont let facts get in the way of your fantasy boxing master
None, he wouldn't dare fight a top guy who won't let him walk into the ring with the deck stacked 90:10 in his favour. There's a reason why he's known as loaded dice Ward.
Really? To expand: - every fight on home soil in the super six when all the others fought away at least once (Froch fought 4 of his 5 bouts on foreign soil). - homer ref who let him get away with head butting Kessler to death when he would have been disqualified with a neutral ref/venue. - dragged Chad Dawson, a big light heavy, down to 168 where he was a weight drained shell of himself. - dragged Paul Smith, a domestic level super middle, up to a 172 catchweight. - got the Kovalev fight on home soil with 4 American officials who proceeded to screw Kovalev and is now trying to worm out of the rematch. - despite Dawson coming down a weight for him and Ward saying publicly that he would do likewise to fight Mayweather, ducked Golovkin by refusing to fight at a fair catchweight which advantaged nobody. Also expected Golovkin to come up to his weight on his home turf without a tune up, despite him having three for Kovalev. This is why he is known as loaded dice. Every fight, every concession has to be in his favour and he will take his ball home if he has to fight on fair terms.
ward on record saying when he returned he wanted few tune up fights before a big fight his trainer also said that. Golovkin was ready to fight him straight away but he wanted tune ups so when was ward really ready to fight straight away?
if golovkin was ready to fight him straight away then why did countless ggg fans say "is it fair for golovkin to jump right up and fight someone of wards caliber the first time out"?
The tunes ups were the reason why he didn't fight GGG like Richards said. GGG wasn't willing to wait around for some semi retired time waster - who had just finished defaming his old promoter - to get in the ring with him. It's a good thing too, because he would have done a jacobs and simply survived only the judges would give him the win. If Ward put in Jacob's performance last saturday against GGG and got to the judges, Ward's hands would've been raised, no question. All ward has to do is to simply survive against his opponents, that is how much backing he has within Boxing.
Loefler just called out Froch AGAIN. Why don't they call out Ward who has belts. GGG loves belts don't he? Why haven't they called him out. Ward signs that contract in a heart beat.
if ggg was ready to fight straight away then why did we hear these excuses many times "golovkin is a small mw...." "golovkin shouldnt be expected to jump up and fight a guy wards level right off the bat" and "ward couldnt even make 168 anymore" none of these would have been used or needed...the excuse would have always been "ward need tuneups and golovkin was ready to fight right then and now" but of course u guys have a laundry list of excuses and just use a different one each day...LOL
