Yes that is what I mean when talking about Norton out jabbing Ali. Norton was catching Ali's jab, Ali was pulling his right hand to the side and leaving himself open to Norton jab, so when they jabbed together Norton was not getting hit, but Ali was.

Momentum is the mass of an object multiplied by its velocity. The more momentum you have the BIGGER punch you will have..Theres many articles on this however i actually train as a power puncher for decades i know this stuff from ACTUAL training in all types of combat. There is NO way you get more momentum punching up...its impossible unless you are changing physics. Those like a M.tyson who have perfected a perfect uppercut really are able to dig in to their opponent but it is still not more leverage as say a Lewis right hand coming down on you. You could argue who hit harder ( i think Tyson did) but we cant use ONE guy as the norm here.

I understand that. The velocity will be created my your muscles. Will a few inches in height really matter that much to punching power though?

If you are a power puncher for sure.i highly doubt you would see wilder produce the amount of knockouts if he were a few inches shorter. Ive only seen a FEW tall power punchers over 6'4 who actually use good technique with the height..Lewis, Klitchkos' Joshua and Bowe come to mind. With wilders LACK of their technique i highly doubt he would be as effective at winging his punches and would concentrate on proper technique...he gets away with it bc directly of his height.

If you knew what you were talking about you just would have said to punch harder you have to punch faster. Seeing as you over complicated it and tried to act as if you know **** about physics you gave yourself away as a pseudo intellectual (we all already knew). Lol this is so funny to read dumbasses trying to explain science.

Next time don't try acting like you studied any form of science because you clearly have not.

Norton was not overly better than Ali but if anyone THEN studied what would be common sense today,Ali would be in trouble.Just like common sense would be to throw a right hand over Louis slow jab was.The hard fact is ppl really didnt study footage with limited availability in those old eras. Ali did utilize his jab better bc he had to ,without it he would lose which the Norton fights show.Ali would have to reinvent himself in other eras ,his tactics simply wouldnt work as they did then.

Nope not anymore. Btw don't try acting like you are big. You said yourself you're only 150 lbs and judging from you being middle aged, I hardly doubt you put on any real muscle mass in the last couple of months. You said yourself you've been training for 20+ years, if you were gonna bulk up you would have done it by now.

You're a ****ing phaggot if you have an entire thread about me lol. Go ahead and post wherever you claim I said I don't know what it's like to take a punch. I've taken plenty of punches so idk where you got the impression that I didn't. You're the known liar here not me.
