Kov is not #2, GG is. Loma is not 6 and 9 and 10 don't belong yet.

...Okay so they didn't give it to Ward after beating Kovalev because the fight was considered a robbery, but they drop Roman from #1 to #4 because of a fight that many consider a robbery? What the ****?

Fairly solid list. It won't please everyone. But no list ever does.

Did you ever ask, what did Gonzales do to ever earn that spot on any bodies list in the first place?
A lot of people go with it because HBO said so. Well where were HBO when he was 35-0?
Who has he beaten that was also P4P?
And now, how did a guy that was coming off of fights with guys that were 12-19, debut fights, type records beat him like a piñata?
Where was Roman world class defense?
Why did he not adjust like Ward did with Kovalev?
    Who made this midget P4P?

Exactly. Ward is the only guy on the list that moved up and beat the beast of the very next division.
WBO,WBA,IBF Light-Heavy weight champion Andre Ward that is. 3 belts in 1 night from the beast Kovalev.

i don't personally agree with p4p it is way to subjective and you highlight a good point it is practically impossible to determine how good a flyweight is to say a a light heavyweight because we can't accurately judge the strength of the division

Gonzalez record is very impressive though he has beaten a lot of fighters who have done very well Estrada,Rodriguez jr, Yaegashi,Viloria, Cuadras. The thai guy was good, he gave Cuadras a very good fight before that. These thai guys are near impossible to judge at the lower weights ,many usually have extensive kick boxing careers too and take many fights againsts guys with records like 12-19. Then when they come to the west for a major fight and they look like the terminator everyone can't believe it. An example of this was Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym who was fighting oppenents like that then came to ireland to fight bernard dunne for the 122 wba title. Everyone taught dunne would win, poonsawat almost killed him in 2 rounds.

gonzalez has also moved up 4 weights and is almost 30, old for a flyweight, especially one with he's style. The skills he has are evident though, he's upper body movement and punch selection imo is only bettered by lomachenko, he is also insanely tough. I still felt he beat the thai fighter, but that guy was no mug.

Ward went from #4 to #2 on the P4P list after his razor-thin win over Kovalev. It's not until Gonzalez lost that Ward became the #1 fighter on the P4P list.
