Yes, I agree completely. ODLH admitted that he tried to stop Canelo fighting Lara and Trout because they were "risky" fights, it stands to reason that he didn't want the GGG fight either.

Jesus if Canelo vs Chavez does the numbers expected I wonder whether that 15 mil will still be there.

No excuses. Golovkin has been hype to the stars by HBO, internet blogs, vlogs and fans and anyone that wants to just argue.

These people don't show up on fight night ever when it's time to pay. How can you be a true fan and don't want to pay? Superstars are organic with the public, HBO cannot force people to buy his fights. Let that **** go HBO.

Oscar works for Canelo, Canelo basically owns golden boy since he's responsible for more than 80% of the profits. If Canelo wanted the fight he could get Oscar to give it, he obvisously isn't too confident either.

At 160, all roads lead to triple G. Let Red bottom feed and y'all keep on buying it

Dont you think its HBO's job to hype up GGG? They do pay him licensing fees to air his fights so they have to do hype him to their subscriber base. GGG is definitely a topic of discussion.
all roads lead to Golovkin at 160, but by late 2018 they lead to a 36 year old version. Will be ripe for the picking imo

What world do you live in? because it's clearly a fantasy one and not reality. That's not how the sport works. Hopkins was undisputed and the king at mw and took less much less against two bigger draws in tito and oscar. The draw dictates the terms and takes the Lions share the championships a fighter has are irrelevent. Canelo is a proven draw with ppv numbers and live gates that dwarf gggs. Ggg his fans and his handlers over estimated his drawing power and have now been slapped in the face with a sobering dose of reality. Anyone with common sense already knew this fight would flop and they should have taken the 15 million. Now they will be lucky to get half of that and they have no one to blame but themselves for their arrogance and stupidity.

All DLH is saying is that K2 better not expect more money because they beat Jacobs. In other places he and Loeffler both said that they are finally close to agreeing on the financial side, DLH is just warning K2 not to get bigheaded and suddenly demand more (which indeed would be a very greedy and arrogant move). Nothing has changed, overall the fight brought it about as much revenue as expected but no more, so GGG's position is unchanged.

And I don't get all the criticism that GGG has not signed yet, no way will we hear that it's signed before the Chavez Jr fight. Considering DLH's and Gomez's comments, I'm pretty sure it's no more than a financial agreement, not a legally binding contract for the September fight.

This in a nutshell. Golovkin it has now been proven twice is not in a strong position regarding negotiating
with Canelo, after this, he's actually in a weaker one. Golovkin won't get $15 mil anymore, Oscar has
already alluded to this in print now.

Golovkin needs to take a que from Zab Judah in his rematch vs. Cory Spinks if he wants to make history.
Zab, a much bigger name than Spinks, took 100K while Cory made 1.2 million in their rematch just
so he could get the fight. Sometimes, you have to humble yourself to get things done. This is what
Golovkin will need to do if he really wants it.
