What are the chances Ward fights Beterbiev?

    Beterbiev is about to be named as mandatory challenger to Andre Ward (Tomorrow).

    What are the chances that fight gets made? I'd say 0%. There is nothing there for Ward.

    Beterbiev brings nothing to the table except danger. He'll vacate the title and Beterbiev will fight whoever for the vacant title.

    What do you guys think?

    I think Ward would prefer to rematch Kovalev over fighting Beterbiev. Beterbiev is just as dangerous as Kov imo but he doesn't bring the money and he wouldn't get any credit since Beterbiev has fought no one. Kov/Beterbiev is the fight I truly want to see.

    I say Ward will rematch Kovalev but he will get stripped by the IBF.

    Beterbiew will fight a guy like Stieglitz for the vacant title. Possibly in Germany.

    Financially it's just not there... Ward isn't the type to duck, like every other top fighter, he'll fight anyone for the right price. Hopefully he doesn't retire and fights Kovalev. I'd hate to be in shoes though, you have to fight Kovalev and Beterbiev, ouch.... And people think he ducked GGG smh

    ward will vacate... hes all about money at this stage of his career. kinda sad but its what boxing has become.

    All anyone can do is speculate at this moment. Wards fans will blah blah blah and anti Ward fans will say duck or vacate.

    Lets be realistic here , Dre is pretty much at the end of his career and I don't see him ending it against Beterbiev.

    I think Ward will not fight anytime soon if he doesn´t respect his rematch clause and fight Kovalev. So chances are slim to 0%. The problem is that Ward can take 3 years break and still keep his belts like last time he did it.

    In an ideal world, he would not **** over other fighters and would fight Kovalev and at the same time Beterbiev would be a mandatory for WBC. We would see who is real champion at 175.
