    You can't just assume that Joe would have overwhelmed him with volume.

    We don't know if Joe would have had the confidence to have done that.

    Joe would have had a lot of respect for him. He may have been cautious.

    It could have looked similar to the fight with Bernard though, where it was quality vs quantity. A very intriguing match up.

    Be realistic.

    Although he was a great fighter, he didn't win all of his fights comfortably.

    It's not realistic that he'd have beaten Carl with absolute ease. The reality would have seen them have a macho tear up, with both of them taunting and talking to each other. You're talking about 2 huge egos. I can't see how Joe would have kept his composure and boxed in a disciplined manner. Although I'd have put my house on him winning, I think it would have been competitive fight. Guys like Reid and Bika gave him tough nights. We have to be realistic here.

    It would have been a big problem if he'd have had a shootout with Carl. Joe's been dropped on 4 occasions, and Carl can hit.

    If you think he would have abused Andre, why didn't he abuse lesser fighters?

    Andre didn't get a gift. Kovakev threw the last half of the fight way. Can you imagine Joe wanting to have fought Kovalev? Ha!

    How many southpaws did Joe beat?

    Look at the attributes Chad had.
