I dont think Klitschko wants any part of the AJ fight i think he is just looking for a big payday before hanging up the gloves!

What a great retirement plan by choosing the largest most dangerous young buck. SMH
Not even the great May and Pac managed to do that.

You are possibly right. Money is the reason why he picked AJ.

A multi-millionaire, a man that owns a promotional company, has a PhD, has a woman that also happens to be a multi-millionaire is looking for one more big payday...??? And he is taking on a young, strong, big puncher...???

    Yeah, sounds legit...!!!

i am sure he figures he can win. then be one, possibly two fights from his ultimate goal of being undisputed. it is not like he hasn't returned when no one believed he could, before.

Klitschko is going to ko Joshua. He is not done and not ready to hang them up. Props to both fighters for taking this fight.

Not a chance! Wladimir is a student of the sport, and understands the potential implications anything he does from here on out can have on his legacy. He's at the point of his career where he (legacy-wise) has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I don't believe for a single second that he's fighting just for money. He's a competitor, he loves boxing, and he still believes in himself, and has a proven track record of overcoming setbacks and obstacles.

He may very well lose, and it could wind up we discover he really does have nothing left. But regardless of what happens, Wladimir is in this for himself, he is in it for his legacy, and he is in it for the money and the upside fame. But he isn't "just" in it for a final payday.

one must realize that Wladmir does not need money. Sure like us he would not want to fight for free. if they are paying....cash the check. However, he is long past the point of being concerned about money. he has more of it than most people will ever see in a bank.

Klitschko is not doing what Hagler and Lewis could do and resist one last
mega payday in rematches. Hope he knows what he is doing and doesn't
    regret it.

Wlad is so loaded that ordinary folks can't grasp it. The amount he makes from actual purses is small compared to his sponsorships and investments. He is taking a shot for his legacy here.
