Not really. To destroy the opponent is the ultimate victory. To get the stoppage is pure. It's badass. It gets to the whole point of pro boxing which is to annihilate the opponent.

 

I think saying crap like "GGG's power is a myth." After Jacobs got dropped by a glancing right hand and hurt multiple times is just as idiotic.

 

Kell took more clean shots than Jacobs

Jacobs like brook is very elusive but the size factor helped Jacobs a lot. He didn't take many clean shots

 

From what I saw Brook took GGG's punches just fine.

 

I raised an eyebrow at these comments, it wasn't just Ingle and Brook who made the claim, Eddie Hearn made a similar suggestion in an IFL interview.

I personally don't think Brook did "knock the stuffing" out of Golovkin but it doesn't really matter what I believe but if Brook genuinely believes he did then that's all that matters.

Brook needs to go in to this fight with Spence Jr absolutely full of himself and with as much confidence as possible after coming off a defeat and he believes he ruined Golovkin and it helps then I'm not overly bothered.

 

Brook wont be the last fighter to suffer a broken bone in a fight. That's not really an indicator of how someone takes a punch though is it?

 

Boxers are the biggest bullshitters On planet earth. I like brook but come on kell, you and your team are looking like plonkers today.

They are just hyping the performance in front of Spence. The fact is, Brook stung Golovkin more than Jacobs and Lemieux and until the eye injury was winning the fight.

Now take into account he's a welterweight....and Jacobs looks like a LHW.

The performance deserves to be praised, as did Vitali's against Lewis.

 

Ok there's clearly an agenda with your posts, the one thing you could not say about in that fight is cowardly. He fought for 3 rounds with ONE eye for god sake.
