How would prime Calzaghe have done in THE SUPER SIX??

I just don't see Ward as being able to keep up with Calzaghe and the adjustments he makes in the second half of a fight. Calzaghe was just naturally able to adapt and frustrate his opponents as fights go on and I think he'll keep Ward thinking and unable to execute his wrestling/dirty tactics.

You claimed Dawson was knocked down, something that never happened in that fight. Outside of that Johnson was simply too crude most of the time to land effective punches.

 

I may have been mixing posters up, but whoever said that Johnson knocked Dawson down in that fight lied.

 

Barrera isn't a bad win at all. It's better than Calzaghe's win over Bika, so is the Allen Green win. So no, besides Kovalev, Ward's best win isn't a Calzaghe left over. I never though much of Kessler as it is.

He would of won, going over to America and beating Andre lack of passport Ward would of been his toughest task and would of been a great fight but he would of done it, who knows maybe hed of punched Ward in the face that much that his eyes may of actually opened properly for once and made him look less smug.

 

At the very worst he makes the finals, and I'd favor him to win it.

Calzaghe-Ward would've been one of the ugliest fights you could make, but interesting nonetheless.

 

It was me who said that, I think got it mixed up with Harding...the fight was a long time ago. I wasn't lying I actually thought it was Johnson.
