Uhh no they were perfectly fine. McCall, Mercer, and Rahman are definitley not top 5 atgs. Tyson would get a punch in on Lewis actually he did.

Yes, Lewis wins every time fighting the same game plan. To insinuate otherwise would mean that Tyson didn't perform at the best he possibly could in that fight.

So far you haven't provided an argument for why Tyson would win.

Nobody is winning a decision against Don King's cash cow via excessive clinching. Hell Buster Douglas was near level on scorecards after using Tyson's head as a pinata for 10 rounds.

Its ignored because I may have been able to beat that washed up version of Tyson.

I didnt say he would win, I just criticized your statement that Lewis would knock him out every time they fought. In boxing anything can happen and IMO even as a tyson fan lewis and mike are very well matched.
I think its 50/50 because 1 i think tyson could end it with ne shot if he had to while lewis would have to dominate and beat down tyson for several rounds to win(Lewis said he was shocked at the kind of punches tyson took in their fight) I also think tyson, under rooney wouldbe far less hittable and faster BUT on the other hand, I was very impressed with how lewis imposed his size on mike and stepped into him and smothered him every time he tried the overhand right. He had a great gameplan and executed it to perfection. My feeling is that those 3 things are the key factors, tyson's better ability to take a punch and one punch power that could nullify Lewis' advantages but on the other hand lewis' great sense and use of range/distance as well as his size and ability to smother, spoil and slow the pace down that could nullify tyson's advantages.

Actually i believe that lewis/stewards gameplan from the tyson fight would be too dangerous against a pre botha tyson, too much handspeed and too much elusiveness and counterpunching ability in a firefight pre prison. I think prime lewis vs prime tyson would be a slow pace fight, tyson would know lewis can hit so he wouldnt be reckless but still agressive (in 2002 his only shot was an early ko and even that was a slim chance) and lewis would want to take some of the energy and aggression from tysn by using bonecrusher smith tactics the first few rounds and then when a slow pace was established he would try to win a decision. Tyson was a very emotional fighter who's mental state was a big factor in his performance, I think lewis would try to lull him in to a silent agreement like bonecrusher did but try to get a decision.

It was an exaggeration dude. It's a literary device intended to provide emphasis.

Lewis is more proven than Tyson and on top of that he actually beat Tyson.
