    Didn't think you had it
Why is GBP sending offers by tweet or video? Surely all he had to do was send the contract?
DLH is clearly just playing the media, think about it. Oscar doesn't want Golovkin fighting BJS in case he gets cut or loses before the Canelo fight, but he is willing to sign a £15 million flat fee for Golovkins team before he fought Jacobs?

Where do you get that they refused the 15 mill? Got a source or anything to back that up?

So if this fight doesn't sell as much will we hear about how triple G didn't get paid as much as he could have. Canelo got knocked clean out, but he won the event haha I can hear it already

You ever hear of a verbal agreement? Maybe a handshake?

That's how alot of big fights get signed, believe it or not.. GGG and his team were fools for not accepting the 15 million.

I'm sure they got a percentage of the PPV on top of that. IIRC, Canelo got most if not all of the Mexican PPV upside.

Just do 60%/40% with Canelo getting the bigger share and the fight gets made. 160lb. Vegas, NYC, Texas, heck even Mexico, doesn't matter.

No, big fights get signed when promoters draw up contracts and both parties sign them

Also what do you think happens during negotiations? You think they just have contracts made up and ready to be signed? No. That's not how it works.

When boxers, advisors and managers are negotiating terms for a fight, if they're able to strike a deal, a verbal agreement is agreed upon in good faith, that's when the legal teams from both sides come into play. One side makes the contract predicated on the terms agreed to, the others side looks it over and signs.

That's essentially how fights get made. What you stated was ridiculous. No offense.

No you don't get it. Verbal agreements are part of how the fights are made. You can't just say "oh send me the 15 million contract and a pen, when I haven't agreed to those terms".. cmon now.

Until it's in writing it means nothing. Could you please post a source that proves Golovkins team turned down a £15 million offer?

We know for the fact this is selling and hyping the fight, actual details are in closed doors.
GGG deserves a % share of the PPV and a fight in June will not affect the fight schedule.

LMAO...now big business are conducted by verbal agreements and handshakes.

There isn't a fortune 500 company that does business that way. You have meetings and you verbally go over things. Which are then put to paper and signed by both parties. That is how corporate business is conducted. Until it is on paper it means absolutely nothing. This isn't like you or me hiring a local contractor to paint the outside of the house. Corporations abide by different rules.
