liston would look small next to bowe, and was slower with a weaker chin, bowe would win the exchanges - he won it against fast holyfield one of the best combo punchers of all time, he would have a field day against liston compared to holyfield

lol @ comparing bowe and moorer win

But Moorer barely beat a Holyfield who was fighting two battles in that ring.

One against MM and the other against his ticker which was touch and go for the 12 rounds. He basically fought while having a heart attack , not to similar to Tyson when he fought with a severed spinal cord.

And many even had Holy winning that fight. It wasn't a domination victory like Bowes against the best , fittest , greatest version of Vander that ever fought.

Didn't Vander retire after the close loss against Moorer ? Then came back later claiming a travelling Holy Man had cured his heart problems?

The issue here is Moorers win wasn't in the same ball park of Big Daddies. That victory stands as the best win at the weight to date.

Cool story, bro. Almost as believable as the one where Benny Hinn healed him.

Yet you believe holyfield was completely healthy for the 3rd bowe fight and performing at his best ever when it was clear that the man was half dead in there and gassing out after 2-3 rounds.
There was nothing wrong with holyfields heart for the moorer fight, he had a shoulder injury when he knocked moorer down. I have his book/autobiography its exxplained in there.

Yes Bowe had all those things but not everything, he didn't have a dedication in training and while Sonny floundered as he got older, in training also, it was never because of laziness. We never saw the disciplined and finely tuned Bowe of the first Holyfield bout again.

Not really bc height is reach. Holmes had a far better jab than Liston. The differance between liston and Bowes jab was Bowe had quicker snap on his with MAYBE slightly less power? MAYBE

    bowe.

multiple times he showed the abiity to turn a fight where he was getting outjabbed into an inside fight and was very good there.i do think liston would be more effective with the jab.
bigger, great chin and heart, rough, not bad at range anyway.

Bowe's conditioning sucks. If Liston doesn't get him out relatively early he does for sure in the later rounds.

Slightly less power? Liston is regarded by most as the having the single heaviest jab in the division's history. Even Foreman conceded this. Bowe, while possessing decent power in his poorly delivered right was never known as a power merchant.

About the conditioning? No. For the average person Bowe has great conditioning but for an elite level championship boxer it sucks. Example being the Pinklon Thomas fight. By the 6th rd Bowe was tired and his speed diminished.
