Martinez had no legs anymore. Tore his ACL putting down Jr. and you saw how his legs were gone when he got that win against Murray in Argentina. Martinez was my favorite boxer and I have no problem admitting he was shot to shite when he fought Cotto(e). Literal shell of who he was as a fighter. Everyone knows that..but you I guess.

truth is that martinez never had faced an athlete with elite fundamentals and timing, that had a good chin a jab that was on Qawi's level and a high ring IQ.

not 117-111 because i had it closer, but i saw him win.

Yes i'd agree that Martinez relied on reflex's and timing. Truth is Martinez was finished, really too far gone to be competing with world level operators. Some people felt Martinez fought purely for the money, as he had no chance with them legs once the fight started. They'd of known that in training. It was a cash out fight imo.. Hopkins doesn't beat any world class middleweight fighters in 5 rounds, not even blown up welters. Who do you think wins Martinez V cotto both peak ??

This is true. Cotto comprehensively outboxed Canelo from A to Z. The size difference was the only real factor in Cotto losing.
