Slightly better than His Lemieux fight I guess, but still not good enough to warrant 15 million plus against Canelo.
Well I don't know a lot about PPV numbers , but don't you think in this cyber era it's pretty hard to get good PPV numbers? For example in my country I don't know a single guy that would pay 60 bucks to watch boxing when there are free links etc. Basicly only hardcore fans are buying it.
im always amazed it isnt easier to get a concrete number more easily....always some rounded off number that takes weeks....this isnt the old days of ppv where you actually had to call your cable company by telephone to make the purchase...its all digital.....all companies showing the fight should easily be able to get a digital read and come back with a number......i feel like these numbers are fudged
Within expected range. Everyone makes some money, but nothing transcendent. Nothing to really rag on or hype up.
Yeah, just splitting hairs at that point. The biggest difference between the two was the gap in guaranteed purses, which led to Roc taking a loss. Ward got paid more guaranteed than Jacobs, GGG, Roman, and Rungvisai combined.
Gotcha. Good points too. Roc taks a loss, sells less than Mr. Nobody, it's all good. K2 doesn't lose money, sells more than Mr. USA Olympics, fight bombed. Go figure...
yeah....the difference dummy lance doesnt understand is....neither ward or kovalev are "huge stars that sell out arenas all over....ggg has a nike/jordan deal and does apple commercials...hes going to be the next ppv king...hes an ATG best ever...he deserves an even split with canelo its a 100 mil fight".... LOL....Mr america wins a close fight in the usa and its "oh wards american judges"....mr "big superstar with a huge fight against canelo coming" wins a close fight and its "oh it was just a close fight but ggg won" friggin dummies i swear...nobody would be barking about golovkins sales or whatever if all you jocksniffers didnt pipe him all day everyday
