You are beyond obsessed, nobody mentions this name more than you, You are to Golovkin what Boxing_Master is to Mayweather or Mark David Chapman is to John Lennon.
i think the chapman/lennon comparison is most accurate....because i do assasinate gggs career/resume on a daily basis.....but yeah...i have to even out the overzealous love for golovkin by being a bit excessive in bringing him back down to earth
Poor numbers really but financially they're fine. The PPV was to pay for their purses, HBO is on a tight budget.
Whatever brings you joy in life I suppose. Would airing fights like Golovkin/Jacobs on primetime free TV like Haymon did Thurman/Garcia not come close to making similar money given the advertising revenue? If the difference wasn't huge it would surely work out better financially mid to long term from the exposure, no?
I think I guessed 175-200k. Hmm. Not dreadful but Golovkin not helping his side of negotiations for "the Canelo fight."
Looks like fighters are reviewing worth of PPV. http://touch.latimes.com/#section/-1/article/p2p-92866576/
Satellite numbers come in before the cable companies do. It has always been that way. That is why there is a slight delay. Regardless PPV is a dying business model and getting ravaged by technology and piracy. It is only going to continue to get worse.
