For legacy...absolutely. And I think roc nation and k2 could've compromised. Boxing these days though- risk & reward...more money to fight a top 5 welter or face the best 168 of this generation. Golovkin chose Brook and I don't blame him. It does suck for boxing purists though.
If a prime 147lb SRR were around today, he'd wipe the floor with the current top 5 @ welter - all on the same night. No exaggeration.
The Triple Gift is the very definition of a cherry picker. Just look at his resume. Who has he beaten?
You are joking right? Ofcourse you are, if you really believed what you have just written you must be the biggest moron on this forum and you should just give up on Boxing as you dont seem to understand it.
Jacobs just last week. Can you tell me who he has cherry picked? And before you say Brook i agree with that one. Pointless fight but it was a one off i didnt really see it taken to duck anybody else. It wouldnt of happened had Eubanks signed to face him and he got straight back to facing the divisions number 2 in his following fight. So other than 1 pointless but lucrative fight with Brook, who has this very definition of a cherry picker cherry picked?
If internet existed in the shape and form it exists today Robinson would probably have tons of braindead fans and haters which would contribute to negative opinions about him and people would play down his abilities.
the problem with GGG is not him its his fanboys who think the guy could go blow for blow with Joshua, they genuinely thought the guy was invincible and after that Jacobs performance its clear hes a world level fighter with great power but not as good as alot of biased fans make out to be.
No. Not even close. Giftlovkin got the benefit of the decision. However, he didn't beat Jacobs. WAY too many people say that fight for Jacobs or a draw. They'll duck the rematch because they underestimated Jacobs' skill and durability. That isn't the type of fighter Team Triple Gift is looking to get matched against. So, again I ask, who has the Triple Gift beaten?
Well, Not all elite fighters are American these days, and we have some real hater types here. Also, with the internet, people can nit pick easier. the above is the truth.
Win or lose you asked who has he fought? Or are you calling that a cherry pick gone wrong? Facing the number 2 in the division and agree with it or not he beat the number 2 in the division. You call him a cherry picker, who has he cherry picked?
