Anthony Joshua is the biggest draw in boxing right now.

Other than who you just named. It's still Pacquaio and Cotto. As far as future talent goes, I think Mikey Garcia has a good shot to be a big PPV star.

How are those two bigger than Joshua who will soon have the biggest fight in boxing this year by far?

Joshua doesn't fight outside the UK.. when he can attract outside and appeal to the US audiences as far as showtime/hbo ppv is concerned, then I'd give him a shout.

British boxing is bigger than American boxing right now. Why should he fight outside of the UK?

If he wants to be a mainstream commodity, at some point he's going to have to cross the pond... Anyone can grab ratings when you have a dance partner, but not everyone can draw PPVS of 300k plus against nobodies solely based on Draw and popularity like Canelo, Floyd, Pac and Cotto still can. I consider a person a DRAW, when there's proof the US consumers are paying to see you fight.. Joshua isn't there yet, but he does put butts in the seats as far as filling a stadium in the UK goes.

Joshua's fights sold more than 300k PPVs in UK from what I know. Not everything revolves around USA, especially not boxing.

Klitschko never needed to go to the USA either.

The US is where it's at.. GGG sold 500k PPVS with Brook and can't sell more than 150k in the US. He is a draw? Nope.

Britain is the most relevant boxing nation right now. GGG is not British and isn't a draw there, the fight sold because of Brook.

Joshua is the biggest draw in boxing. American HW champ Wilder will have to go to his country.

This is what you guys did and continue to do with GGG. Don't put too much pressure on AJ, because what if Wlad beats him?? This huge draw youre talking about shrinks tremendously.. Mike Tyson was a draw, Holyfield was a draw, Lennox Lewis was a draw... Anthony Joshua still has some ways to go.

I agree with Joshua. He's a draw in the UK regardless so why not fight Wilder in the USA? Think about it. All the people in the UK will pay to watch Joshua no matter what and then it gives him a chance to showcase in front of Americans.

I agree that Joshua has a great potential, he is a heavyweight and from a English speaking country. He can be worldwide.
But the Mecca of boxing is still the ole USA.
It's like movie stars I guess, the largest one is still Hollywood, you want to cut it worldwide, you still need to invade America. You can argue that some Chinese or Indian movie star have more followers, but mostly they won't be recognised outside their ethnic group.
Having said that the UK and Europe are not far behind as they are country with big capitals.

Current top PPV sellers in the US (Sans Canelo) would be Manny Pac and Cotto, as the only other guys in boxing who can carry a big PPV.

Maybe only across the pond. He's no where near a draw in the states.
