Depending on how good Spence performs against Brook, especially if he KO's Brook in spectacular fashion, expect him to take over this forum.

When judging the new up and coming talents, I see Loma and Spence as the top two in terms of star power. Loma is a bit older and from Ukraine, so Spence has the age and the home team advantage.

So far Spence has looked impressive. He did a good job of obliterating both Algieri and Bundu. Brook now stands in his way to stardom.

If Spence wins a UD vs Brook, he will definitely get credit. Fans will look to see how he does vs Thurman, the unified Welterweight champion. If Spence takes Brook out, then the hype will start to burn hot and spence will begin to replace GGG as the king of the ESB forum.

If Spence knocks off both Brook AND Thurman then the new king is here.

Don't you think that Porter would have exposed him when they fought? Getting KOd doesnt mean getting exposed, unless you get KOd by a nobody. The word exposed is overused

If Spence beats brook. And beats him in an impressive fashion . That would be a massive win.

I rate Brook massively. Probably best boxer 147-154-160 bar GGG.

I think Brook is the goods. But that move from 160 back down to 147, I dont know man. Could be drained.

Would you be saying this if he didn't already fight GGG?

the truth is, by fighting a common opponent, it links Spence and GGG names together. If Spence takes Brook out in more impressive fashion than GGG did, the boxing world will go bananas.

    Yes always rated brook Lou.

You are not going to see a better technical fighter than brook. Shame he hasn't made a bigger impact on the sport, considering his talents.

Yeah. Agreed. Ever since he got stabbed on holiday and nearly died i feel he has outgrown 147lb division.

I hope brook does it right, if anyone can brook can. He has nothing to fear in there Vs Spence. He will knock the stuffing out of spence.

Spence has looked the goods so far. I expect Brook to give him a tough fight. I think the bright lights and the 20k screaming fans will definitely have an effect on Spence the first few rounds. Brooks best bet is to jump on Spence and make him uncomfortable from the start.

What about Ward, Usyk, Linares, Crawford, Gonzales, Alvarez,Lomchenko? All those guys are better technically.

I rate Brook alongside those guys.

The task that Brook had with GGG should not be overlooked. He moved up 2 weight classes to face the absolute best in that division. Someone who is talking about moving up to 168 to fight the guys there. There could be 3 weight classes difference even.

Look at the guys on the list and ask how well they would do if they went up 2-3 weight classes and fought a top p4p fighter there? I'm pretty sure if Linares moves up to fight Thurman or Crawford moved up to fight Canelo the outcomes would be similar.

If he KO's him in "Impression" fashion?
In some kind of abstract way you're talking about?
Also "Will he take over this forum?" You mean put a cash offer in or something, like buy the shareholders out?

Brook hasn't fought the opponents to solidify himself as the best 147 pounder, on the eye test he is gunna be the toughest opponent Spence could fight in the division now that Manny is old and irrelevant.

Spence is catching Brook at the perfect time, if he can't beat him now then he was never a match for Brook to begin with. This is the best match up in the division and the winner can go on to rule the roost imo
