That's true. Unfortunately those fights involved two of the more hated guys here, Khan and 3G. So no one was quick to say much positive about the fights, even though both Khan and Brook took huge chances and deserve a ton of respect for their attempts.

Canelo only moved up to duck Golovkin again that's why he's not getting credit

I don't disagree but there are always those who like to look at everything cynically.

LOL Chavez isn't a 168 pound fighter and said the lowest he could go is 170 but is now boiling down to a ridiculous 164.5

Chavez will likely be 188-190 on fight night. That is a Cruiserweight.

because canelo is a very small man, and im not talking physically. i dont mind fighters looking for the biggest pay offs, but no man of any substance would do it in the manner canelo is doing it. all the chest thumping followed by excuses when gggs name is mentioned gives me all the insight i need, to know the type of person he is.

He never fought in a full division. 160 should be 160, 168 should be 168.

He'll be fighting a drained guy who hasn't beaten a ranked contender in almost 5 years and was never anything Special to begin with. That might be why.

Because it's not that big of a challenge but I do feel people and even Canelo and GB maybe underestimating Jr

If...and a big if...Chavez Jr is in any type of good shape, meaning not drained to half-death, he will be a live dog against Canelo.

I['m honestly not too upset about this fight being made. Should have happened before Chavez jr ballooned up, maybe when still at 160. But oh well, this'll be interesting to say the least. Not paying for it either.

Oh really?! Wow!! I wonder who fought Dominik Britsch then??

Even after not fighting for a year and a half, Chavez had No problems weighing in at 168 in his very last fight.

Come at me with facts bro, not made up fantasies.

Why disgrace yourself by pretending to be a casual without an understanding of who these men are and what is at work?

Have you been living under a rock for the past two years?

    This fight is a joke.

Because he's fighting a big money draw fight. GGG isn't a draw and Canelo will do bigger numbers with JCC jr than he will with GGG.

Amir Khan moved up in weight to face P4P rated Canelo, Brook moved up to face P4P rated Golovkin. How is Chavez Jr career going at the moment? And he is being brought down to that catchweight and the 1 thing he has had most problems with in his stuttering career and thats his weight.
