Chavez is tall and has a large body, that is just a giant target for canelos left hook to the body. And canelo can rip that punch extremely hard against a stationary target. So yeah maybe canelo can't hurt jccjr's head, but he can destroy his body.
I'm picking Canelo to win this fight by tko via bodyshot so yes that will be very crucial to Chavez Jr come fight night.
What round does Cinnamon get Chavez Jr out of there?! I think the Chavez from round 12 of the Martinez fight shows up. I think Canelo snags the early rounds and Chavez shows up around 5 but at that point it's too late Canelo MD or Split
Possibly in the 8th or 9th rnd maybe . I really wouldn't be shocked if the fight last all 12 Doe . Unfortunately for Chavez if it does go the distance, its a guaranteed loss for him no matter how close the fight is . Chavez has no chance in hell of winning a decision. We all know this already.
Jr has a hell of a body attack too. I see some posters saying Canelo is way more skilled than chavez jr. I don't believe so. Chavez jr might be lazy at times, but his boxing ability is pretty adept. The biggest hurdle for this is if Chavez jr can make weight properly. IMO, that decides how this will play out.
Yup. Agree. With Saul's stamina issues in the past, Chavez would be stupid not to unleash hell on Canelo's body. I think Chavez has the ability to put a stop to Canelo's cuteness and force him to slug it out. In fact, I say Chavez stops him late, if he's not drained to death. There. I said it.
Chavez Jr ups his game tremendously when he doesn't fight like his dad or at least tries too. When he was under Roach, fighting off the jab made him a world class fighter, even tho it wasn't a great jab. He needs to understand jabs can win you fights, he needs to use it! It's the only chance he has against Canelo. He can keep Canelo at bay, off balance, off his rhythm, or setup the monster left hook he planted on Maravilla's kisser.
