Hatton's best weight was 140 which Floyd could make. But they fought at 147 where Hatton looked poor against Collazo.

The win over Canelo seemed good until it was blatantly obvious Wrangelo's kryptonite is boxers and he was weight drained to the point he gassed earlier than normal, which for Pollo is early.

Corrales was his best win, PBF was still throwing punches with power and intent. Diego was drained, which tarnishes the win somewhat:
"Diego Corrales looked dead at 130 lbs. He failed to make weight on his first attempt, scaling two pounds over the junior lightweight limit. An hour later, after some downtime in a sauna, Corrales made the weight."

People need to be honest with themselves and admit Floyd's negotiating skills were as important as his boxing skills in his career. Every fight from Corrales on was calculated.

I think this is the best list. I sort of feel like it includes all stages of his prime. Beginning, middle and end.

Time out you lump all Floyd fans in a group, okay your one of those good to know. I'm not Floyd, I don't do hypothetical losses and wins. Cotto didn't have an 0. Also I'm curious if you know 99% of fighters bull**** and say things sell a fight. Too me Brook has a lost already so when it comes up for the Spence fight remember I said he has a lost. Jesus Christ man have some sense about this. If we are taking every boxer for what they or their teams say. Tell GGG to move up if he can't make the Canelo fight. He knocks out "heavy weights", he'll fight anyone from 154-168. The lie detector test told us that was a lie

Historically, his best win is pacman. For half a decade pacman is the only name that can challenge his supremacy. Although it was slightly diminished as pacman had been knock out by Marquez prior.

Followed by Canelo, which is his fifth division win over a young tough undefeated challenger in his prime. To me the Canelo win represent a win over the next generation and he did it empathically.

Last is Chico, underrated win along with a win over Hernandez that established his dominance in his starting class at 130.

    Pac
    Corrales
    Canelo

I don't agree with Castillo being a top 3. Floyd should've had an easier time with Castillo. Pfp Castillo was not better than Marquez, Hatton, Mosely, Pac, Corrales, or Alvarez. I even think Guerrero clocked in higher on the list at the time of fighting Floyd, granted he didn't deserve it. De La Hoya and Hernandez were in the same class when the fights occured. Castillo also got smoked by Corrales outside of Corrales' best weightclass and destroyed by Hatton when he tried to move up. For that to be a top 3 win for Floyd, he would've needed a sparkling performance, granted he rightfully won both fights and fought through an injury.

    Biggest scalp...PAC
    Most impressive show...Gatti - he couldn't miss!
And other fights I enjoyed were Hatton & Hernandez.

Cool thread to remember a great fighter...not the guy we cringe at in the media today.

I don't think Hatton is that big of a deal as far as wins go. Not a knock against Floyd but Ricky was never gonna overwhelm him. Why do people consider this such a good win?! It's decent at best but not his top 3. That's just me it's a good win but nothing spectacular. How he did it was a thing of beauty that check hook

For perspective, Hatton was the first serious come forward fighter Floyd had fought since Castillo. And he was bigger than Floyd, to a greater extent than Castillo. So people did some mental gymnastics about Castillo coming close. And, like you said, Floyd finished it well.(Plus the UK was losing their **** over Hatton at the time.)

Any argument about Hatton being at a weight disadvantage is complete bull****. He was physically bigger than Floyd.

You're a hater and can't be taken seriously when discussing him. You blame pbf for not fighting Hatton at 140 but decline to mention Hatton turned pbf down at 140 when both were at that weight. Even still pbf fought at 154 against oscar but yet your hating ass expects him to go from 154 back down to 140 to fight Hatton. Ricky never made any excuses about the weight so why should you?

Canelo is much bigger than pbf and weighed in the previous fight at 153 the catchweight was at 152 1 pound less but according to haters like you canelo was a zombie on fight night.

Chico went on to fight at 130 for years after pbf beat him and won a title at that weight. But according to you he was a zombie. Pbf was expected by most to get KTFO against Chico it wasn't calculated.

With people like you pbf can never win you'll always come up with an excuse as to why you can't give him credit. You lose credibility when you think like that.
