In terms of power, speed, chin any of that? Makes you wonder why a lot people take it.

No thats why I'm asking. Those are all in theory. Is there any proof or at least some evidence?

Power, speed and stamina are the main things that PEDs improve. That means quite a lot in such sport as boxing.

But they won't improve skill level and chin

Usually enhances training, maybe increases pain resistance? Most of it only benefits fighters in training, which translates to the ring.

You never watched the Olympics? You never watched cycling? Is 7 Tour de France wins not evidence that serious doping works? Is this a joke?? I don't get it.

It probably improves their speed and power about 15%.

It mainly helps with training and reducing downtime related to injuries

When you have a fighter whos nearly 40 years old showing very little signs of decline from what he was at 30 that speaks for itself. Peds absolutely help fighters and its unfortunate that its clearly a problem.

    Yes.

And, while they don't increase skills directly, they increase your capacity to maximize your skills if you put the work in.

Highly highly doubt it. Boxing isn't a sport that pushes physiological boundaries in terms of strength/power or stamina. Those minuscule improvements aren't going to make any difference.

You can't hide your chin, even if you inject synthol directly inside. Glass remains glass.

Yes to all including the chin in the later rounds, when often clean boxers get KO'd by relatively light punches due to fatigue. And recovery between rounds is enhanced so the cumulative effect is less pronounced. I say PEDs assists all the physical aspects of the sport...

Unquestionably. I have no idea how it is argued that it doesn't. Not only does it make scientific sense but the proof is also in the pudding. Boxing is NOT just skill.
I would be interested in hearing reasons why it wouldn't.

You obviously haven't spent any amount of time in the squared circle.
