Deontay Wilder '' I'm levels above Anthony Joshua''

Neither of them have sparkling resumes but ive had Wilder losing fights by my scorecard before he gets them out of there. Im struggling to think of a round i have scored against Joshua in his 18 fights and that includes the round Whyte wobbled him in.

Based on that and the fact Joshua is facing Wladimir Klitchko and Wilder is being linked with 3 more names that are nowhere near as good i think everybody knows he isnt levels above Joshua and he isnt even at the level he really should be as a world champion with 38 fights under his belt.Especially his own trainers and team. Although im sure Wilder fully believes what he says.

 

You could be right, but why would Wilder make statements like this if he didn't have a real intention of fighting AJ?

He's really stoking the fire here when instead he could easily give the usual bland, stock answers. He managed to keep things quiet with him vs Wlad for long enough. I firmly believe Wilder and Wlad had an agreement not to fight each other. Whenever either of them were asked questions about the other the answers always seemed a bit off, like they just wanted to play down what should have been a huge fight (in 2015).

 

Who does everyone think has the better Chin? Wilder or AJ?

 

AJ has taken bombs by Whyte admittedly is no world beater but who's fringe top 10 contender. Widler got wobbled and got chicken legs from a top 45 guy like Molina.

We'll see how AJ reacts to Wlad's punches (if any get thrown).

 

Funny how the guy levels below him is fighting better competition and was moved up FAR quicker and less safely than the SUBLIMELY talented Deontay Wilder.

 

I don't even think Stivern is better than Mansour ( another guy Wilder has avoided)...Stivern should have lost to Derrick Rossey and when was the last time the over the hill Stivern fought? Martin would probably out box Stivern and probably hurt him if he was still boxing and Whyte is better than both. Only Wilder fans overate Stivern who hasn't beat a single relevant body in 15 years.

 

If AJ doesn't blow through Klitschko, flaws will be revealed and these type of statements from Wilder are going to start to gain traction.

 

Why hasn't he got Haymon to ensure he fights the winner and not Chisora or Helenius, a pretty ridiculous eliminator if it is? He'd run and cry like he did from Povetkin.

 

The statements still wouldn't have any traction.. Considering Wilder has failed to blow through much worse fighters than a faded Klitschko since winning the WBC strap.

 

Yea bc wilder hasn't shown MAJOR holes fighting far LESS competition so far? Wilder isn't as dangerous as Klitchko it doesn't even matter who wins or loses bc Wilder is not on their level.

 

As far as im concerned if Wlad does beat Joshua all it does is swap round who i see currently as numbers 1 and 2 in the division until Fury returns. Wilder is still talking bollox and is still a level behind either of them. If there are glaring flaws showed up in Joshuas game Wilder isnt a good enough Boxer to expose them he would just do the same things he does in all his fights.

All Wilder has to do is prove us wrong but you dont get to face so much poor opposition one after the other for so long as a world champion unless you are activly trying to do it and if you are trying to do it its for a reason.

 

I have been exposing ggg since I came onto this board when there were almost nobody challenging him for not earning his p4p status, now look at him. He stepped up and flaws were revealed for all to see. He isn't beating Hager anymore in mythical matchups cause people will laugh. Something similar can happen to AJ if he struggles to win or worse. The hero worship for him would die down a lot. I've already seen it happen several times because people like to pretend their hero is perfect.

 

Wishful thinking. I don't think AJ fans are ready for the criticism that could follow.

 

Except AJ has faced the same level of opposition as Wilder and has looked MUCH better in dispatching them. I can't see how struggling or losing to Klitschko would give credence to Wilders ridiculous claims of being LEVELS above Joshua.
