For sure Floyd is awesome. He's in my top 5 WW ever. But the early 80s fab 4 (excluding may sr, arguello, Pryor, Ecklund & Benetiz)...was a better era than late 2000's in my opinion

Completely debatable. First Frazier and Ali were both natural Heavyweights. Duran was a smaller guy coming up to WW. And both Leonard and Ali were incredible fighters, but Duran being his size should have never been able to handle Leonard. Ray Leonard was a fast, strong, durable and skilled Welterweight with a 74 inch reach and Duran busted him up.

Frazier's win over Ali was amazing and it's underrated. Because of how badly Joe kicked his ass. He won most of the rounds. And dropped Ali hard and came fairly close to finishing him. That was also a marvelous win.

 

What fighters were actually in their prime? Pac was actually literally in a coma a couple fights before they fought by a washed up fighter himself. You have to remember that being a fanboy makes you over look the things neutral fans don't.
In actual reality Duran most likely would stop floyd quite easily.
