Wasn't Rios supposed to fight Victor Ortiz? What happened with that?

What a shitty fight, Brandon Rios deserves no more
opportunities at all. Miguel should break him in half
    in 5 rounds.

I'll watch it like I'd watch a train wreck (out of morbid fascination) but the co features/undercard bouts are going to have to be extraordinary to get me to buy some ****ed up ppv.

Cotto only has 1 fight left in his roc nation contract, that is why this is happening

They're probably floating the idea to see if there's any interest. Too bad the Marquez fight didn't happen. I would have enjoyed seeing how befuddled and outboxed Juan would be against the Hall of Fame movement and boxing skills of Cotto.

What kind of joke is this.

    Pacquiao fighting a nobody
Rios is a shot punchbag that needs to retire UNLESS he fights Ortiz

My theory...it makes sense for both fighters (and they're both warriors) but in YouTube I saw Cotto saying he'd never do business with top rank. Otherwise to me that was the logical and awesome matchup!

I'm of the opinion all 3 should be out to pasture. Cotto is far less shop worn than
Rios and Ortiz however. At least with Rios vs Ortiz, both are pretty much at the same level
regarding deterioration so it would be on equal terms.

I guess Miguel changed his mind. Reports In February were that the only disagreement was the catchweight. Cotto wanted 150. Marquez would not go above 146.

Damn... I thought Marquez would've jumped at that pay day and legacy fight (not saying he doesn't have a legacy...but he always seemed to push himself to a new challenge - I doubt he needs the money).

I'm hearing Saunders is an option too.
