    okay ward vs kovalev sold what 150k ppv's? 150k by 60 dollars is 9 million. but apparently 12 million was the overall purse split and hbo are in such a rush to lose more money they are doing it all again?

    Andre Ward was always going to sign for the rematch. How could anyone think otherwise?
    He's a warrior and is about securing a legacy that puts him in the same ilk as the likes of Archie Moore, Charley Burley, Harold Johnson etc. he's always stated this.
    Ward will win this time round, and I will continue to support him win or lose.

    All respect to Ward I hope this quiets the Ward will duck the rematch critics. Ward has proven he doesn't duck anyone.
    I picked Kovalev by decision first time (and feel I was clearly right) I'll stick to that prediction for the rematch.

    if you dont respect ward or have a positive thing to say about him you might as well have your fan card pulled...probably your human card and intelligence card....you dont have to love his style or even like it....but he should be respected

    Good stuff, and don't be delusional the fight is a pick em fight.

    Kovalev seemed to slow down as the fight wore on but it wasn't his power that was hurting Ward early it was his speed. I personally see the fight as slightly edging Kovalev and that's because he let Ward back into the fight by not staying on him, he relaxed and Ward started stealing rounds. When Ward got more confident Kovalev had gone off the boil a bit and Ward became an awkward prospect to deal with.
