Ray Robinson & and Jones Jr spring to mind with best ever skills. We'll know in about 10 years. No doubt Loma has a very bright future to say the least :)

I would say Roy was skilled but more just supremely athletic. He relied on reflexes. Loma has impeccable footwork and angles. Not that roy didn't but it seem to diminish later on.

Depends on your definition of skilled. I had Toney backed against him...and nothing against Toney - Jones just had something I never saw ever and I'd call it skill. You might call it athleticism and that's cool

I can't argue. Him being so athletic was basically a skill. Who's the closest we have to RJJ this generation in your opinion?

No one! But one person I'm following closely is Crawford. His switching of stances is the best I've seen and I consider that skill. I'm perplexed if it works in his favour to confuse opponents and keep his winning streak...and if I had to guess - I think it does/will.

Loma is a highlight reel and may not have even reached his peak.

They're the two that come to mind :)

Crawford and Loma are special talents. Man it seems like the 90's produced the rarest athletes though. I feel like I used to be watching men in the ring and now I'm watching kids. I will say though, boxing is in a great state right now and 2017 is going to be the best year in about 10-15 years.

Fights like Ward v Kov 2...JoshuavWlad...H FuryvParker - finally the fans are getting fights that are pretty much 50:50! 2017 has been good so far and I think will get better :).

In terms of the 90's - for sure. Was it 1990 Chavez v Taylor...talk about talents! Taylor was a rare athlete. Punches in bunches! Athletes in the 90's...R Bowe - he moved so quick for his size!?

I can't go past early 80s era as my favourite. That was deep talent - Hearns, Duran, Leonard, Benetiz, Pryor, Arguello...even contenders had a lot to offer like Ecklund and mayweather sr...so many great fights
